Boy’s Day of Rugby 2019

The 2019 White Rose Schools Rugby Series Boy’s Day of Rugby was hosted at Ilkley RFC. The festival consisted of Year 7,8,9 & 10 Boy’s. The festival was a massive success with 940 Boy’s participating in the festival. There was 36 Schools that attended from across Yorkshire. And to help the day run smoothly we had 11 Young Match Officials. Like the Girls Day of Rugby, we voted for teams which showed great Core Values.
As this festival was strictly about enjoyment and participation there was an award for the best show of core values. This meant our officials and pitch managers decided a team who had shown great core values throughout the festival.

• Year 7 winners of the Spirit of Rugby award – Rastrick School
• Year 8 winners of the Spirit of Rugby award – Harrogate Grammar School
• Year 9 winners of the Spirit of Rugby award – Trinity Academy Halifax
• Year 10 winners of the Spirit of Rugby award – Outwood Easingwold School.
