At White Rose Rugby, we have extensive experience delivering high-quality rugby programmes across secondary schools throughout Yorkshire.

All our coaches hold at least the RFU England Rugby Coaching Award and have completed the RFU ‘Rugby Union in Secondary Schools’ course, ensuring every session is safe, engaging, and aligned with national standards.

We have proudly delivered rugby in a wide range of schools, including BBG Academy, Crossley Heath, Guiseley High School, Horsforth School, and Prince Henry’s Grammar School.

Rugby union is a sport where every young person can participate, learn, and grow. White Rose Rugby aims to expand and educate rugby across secondary schools, encouraging new players to engage with the sport and connect with local clubs.

Since its launch in 2012, our initiative has introduced rugby to over 750 state secondary schools, making school life healthier, happier, and more inclusive. Our programmes have a lasting impact by:

1
• Reducing anti-social behaviour through teamwork and shared values
2
Enhancing learning and self-esteem among students
3
Creating a legacy for over 1 million young people through the core values of rugby: Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline, and Sportsmanship

Through our delivery, White Rose Rugby supports schools in building sustainable rugby programmes that engage pupils of all abilities and backgrounds, both in PE lessons and extra-curricular settings.
